The American Mammoth Jackstock is a large draft donkey breed developed in the United States primarily for producing strong working mules. Originating from European donkey bloodlines such as the Maltese, Majorcan, and Andalusian donkey, the breed was selectively bred for size, strength, endurance and a calm working temperament.
