Percheron

The Percheron is a French draft horse breed originating from the Perche region of northwestern France. Historically bred for warfare, carriage pulling, agriculture and heavy transport, the Percheron became one of the most influential and internationally recognized draft breeds due to its combination of strength, endurance and elegance.
Compared to many heavier draft breeds, Percherons are often more refined and athletic while still maintaining impressive size and pulling power.
