

Norwegian Dole

The Norwegian Dole, also known as the Dølahest, is a traditional Norwegian draft and utility horse breed originating from Norway. Historically used for farm work, forestry, transport and riding in harsh Scandinavian environments, the breed is known for its strength, endurance, versatility and calm temperament.
The Norwegian Dole combines the sturdy build and pulling ability of a draft horse with the agility and hardiness needed for mountainous terrain and long winters.
