Irish Cob

The Irish Cob, also commonly known as the Gypsy Cob or Gypsy Vanner, is a traditional cob-type horse developed in Ireland and the United Kingdom by Romani and Traveller communities. Originally bred to pull caravans and work as an all-purpose family horse, the breed is known for its strength, calm temperament, abundant feathering and striking coat patterns.
Irish Cobs are especially recognized for their compact yet powerful build, long flowing manes and tails and heavy feathering on the legs.
