Draft Mule

The Draft Mule is a hybrid cross between a draft horse and a donkey, bred primarily for strength, endurance, intelligence, and working ability. Traditionally, draft mules were widely used for agriculture, hauling, forestry, military transport and packing due to their ability to combine the power of heavy draft horses with the hardiness and surefootedness of donkeys.
Depending on the horse breeds used, they can vary significantly in appearance, but they generally maintain a sturdy draft-type frame combined with characteristic mule features such as long ears and a more refined head shape.
