Breton

The Breton is a French draft horse breed originating from the Brittany region of northwestern France. Developed for agricultural work, military transport and heavy pulling, the Breton is known for its strength, endurance and compact yet powerful build.
Compared to many taller draft breeds, the Breton is typically shorter, stockier and extremely muscular, making it especially effective for farm work and pulling tasks in difficult terrain.
