Boulonnais

The Boulonnais is a French draft horse breed originating from the coastal Boulogne region of northern France. Historically used for hauling fish carts, agricultural work, and heavy transport, the breed became well known for combining strength with an unusually elegant and refined appearance for a draft horse.
Often referred to as the “White Marble Horse” due to its commonly light-colored coat and polished appearance, the Boulonnais is recognized for its muscular build, expressive movement and powerful yet graceful presence.
